24th December Information

24th December Information

Thursday 24th December.

Coming to the end of the year and looking back it has been a year like no other.   First and foremost a vote of thanks to all our members for their patience and understanding during times when we had to work through lock down , twice, and a special thank you to those who gave up their time to help out with work on the course and exterior of the pro shop and boot room.

On top of all this the weather has made things even more difficult, with course closures etc.

Looking back and despite all, the club has had a successful year with increased membership and increased green fees,  The new booking system has worked well and again thanks to all members for adopting this and making it work. We will get through all of these problems and look forward to the new year and having the good course that we have had this summer

We wish you all a happy  Christmas  and a healthy new year  stay safe, play safe.

Now to the current situation

As from today 24th December the course is closed due to very heavy rain during the night and severe flooding

Gary Sutton will be making regular inspections and information will be sent out when play can resume.

Covid 19- Now in tier 4

In tier 4 areas golf courses can remain open but to meet with government guidelines you can only meet up with one other person not from your household, therefore play will be in two ball only and the tee time booking system will be changed to accommodate this.

The sports Centre and the Pro shop will remain closed however Colin Williams will operate a click and collect service if required.
